Maria George received her BA in Microbiology & Immunology at UC Berkeley and her MPH in Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences at UCLA. After having her daughter, she received her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education through Northern Arizona University. She has worked in the child development field for over 15 years as a teacher, program coordinator, and field research manager. Currently she is a Professor in Child Development in the San Diego Community College District and Point Loma Nazarene University. When she is not busy teaching, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, taking long walks, enjoying nature, trying new restaurants, and creating videos.
